Ensterä, who also designed Cap T’s Fool For Love, also won the John Bustin Award for Conspicuous Versatility.  The scenic design for Detroit also took home top honors at the B. Iden Payne Awards last fall.

Amongst the other winners form the night were Cap T veterans including Joey Hood (Fool For Love) for his performance in Hyde Park Theatre’s The Christians, and Derek Kolluri (Dying City, New Directions) for his direction of Cock and Jacob’s Ladder.

Artistic Director Mark Pickell is proud of Cap T’s success for the year and would like to thank the critics table and his collaborators for furthering the artistic enrichment of the Austin community. “It is always great to be honored among such great artists and theatre makers in Austin.  I was so glad Ia was recognized for her amazing work,” Pickell said.
