Meet the cast of DNA

Julia Bauer


This is Julia’s first appearance with Capital T. She was last seen as Jules in KARLSTAD (UT New Theatre). Other acting credits include Hecuba in TROJAN WOMEN (UT acting project), and Horatio in ‘RATIO (UT New theatre). She is a sophomore majoring in theatre at the University of Texas.


Dillon Cavitt


This is Dillon’s first production since moving to Austin two years ago to pursue acting. Throughout high school, Dillon performed countless times on stage in plays such as, AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, THE CURIOUS SAVAGE, and RABBIT HOLE. He also performed in musicals such as, SWEENY TOOD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET, and INTO THE WOODS. Recently, Dillon has concentrated on film, starring in many student short films. His debut appearance in a feature film, 6 YEARS, directed by Hannah Fidell, will premiere in early 2015.

Adrian Collins


This is Adrian’s first appearance with Capital T. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she appeared in ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST as Nurse Ratched, A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE as Blanche, and RUMORS as Claire (Jesuit College Preparatory). Adrian is a freshman BA Theatre and Dance student at The University of Texas. Adrian is excited to make her Austin theatre debut with Cap T.


Will Douglas


Will is excited to be making his Capital T debut. He recently attended the University of Texas Department of Theatre and Dance, where he studied acting and directing.  He was last seen as Steeds in the world premiere production of POOR BOYS’ CHORUS at UT, directed by Natalie Novacek. Other credits include Michal in THE PILLOWMAN (UT), Captain David Collins in OUR COUNTRY’S GOOD (UT), Longaville in LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST (UT), Trofimov in THE CHERRY ORCHARD (UT), Hanschen in SPRING AWAKENING (UT), RIVER CITY (UT New Theatre), THE FAREWELL (Cohen New Works Festival), as well as many other productions, workshops and readings.

Nate Dunaway


This is Nate’s first appearance with Capital T Theatre. Previous credits include Demetrius in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, Frog in STORIES OF FROG & TOAD (Scottish Rite), Adapter Man/El Drone in PULGA TIME MACHINE (Teatro Vivo), G-Man Phil in EGGHEADS (Tongue & Groove), The Biker in AUSTIN IS A PLACE (Theatre En Bloc), Masters in BEAUTY IS THE BEST PRIEST and Tom in THE SMOKING LESSON (ACC). Nate is a company member of Scottish Rite Children’s Theatre and La Fenice Commedia.

Kelley Henry


Kelley Elizabeth Henry is a fourth-year double major in Theatre and Dance and Business Management at the University of Texas at Austin. She was recently seen in A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD at ZACH Theatre. Some of her favorite roles include Reno in ANYTHING GOES, Betty in LET IT BE CHRISTMAS, July in WEST TEXAS BEEHIVE, and the ensemble of IN THE HEIGHTS.

Taylor Hurley


This is Taylor’s first acting appearance with Cap T. She previously stage managed Cap T’s FOOL FOR LOVE, DETROIT (B. Iden Payne Nomination Outstanding Stage Management), PUNKPLAY (B. Iden Payne Nomination Outstanding Stage Management), THE MOTHERFUCKER WITH THE HAT, and THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE. Her other acting credits include: The Woman in THE PLAY ABOUT THE BABY, Stevie in THE GOAT OR WHO IS SYLVIA, and Rosey in CINDERELLA WALTZ. She is currently earning a degree in Performance and Production at Texas State University.

Nate Jackson

Nate Jackson previously appeared in Capital T’s PUNKPLAY last year as Duck. His latest credits include A BRIGHT NEW BOISE and the critically acclaimed PORT AUTHORITY at Hyde Park Theatre. He was in OUR COUNTRY’S GOOD at UT and designed projections for the Fall 2014 UT New Theatre festival. His next production is the new play COLD WATER ARMY directed by Lily Wolf. His film credits inlude BOYHOOD and COMPUTER CHESS. He is a student at UT studying integrated media for live performance and documentary journalism.

Kathryn Lane

This is Kathryn’s first collaboration with Capital T. She was recently seen at The University of Austin as a dancer in Dance Action’s SEED show and as Ilse in SPRING AWAKENING. Other credits include NOISES OFF (Belinda/Flavia), A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (Helena), THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Liesl Von Trapp), and musical workshops PRINCESSES: THE MUSICAL, ZM, and ROSIE. She is currently pursuing a BA in Theatre & Dance and a BFA in Theatre Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.


Nicholas Saenz


This is Nicholas’ first appearance with Capital T. He has performed in over a dozen films, and is best known for Pepper Island Films’ comedy feature, The Man From Orlando, as well as a guest starring role on NBC Television’s Revolution. Most recently, he can be seen co-starring in Universal Television’s thriller, Hysteria, as well as John Ridley’s upcoming drama series, American Crime, set to premiere on ABC later this year.

Matthew Stoughton

John Tate

This is Matthew’s first appearance with Capital T.  He is currently studying Theatre Arts at Austin Community College. Recently he appeared as John in Tape and Greg in REASONS TO BE PRETTY (Austin Community College). Other credits include KHOLSOMER: THE STORY OF A HORSE (Rogers Theatre), and AS YOU LIKE IT (Southwestern Theatre Camp).


Lindsey Markham


Lindsey is very excited to be making her Austin theatre debut. She recently relocated to her home town after studying in Los Angeles at Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop and The Groundlings. Her past credits include Pace in THE TRESTLE AT POPE LICK CREEK, Van’s sister in DOG SEES GOD, Diwata in SPEECH AND DEBATE and most recently Sissy in SHAME for a workshop at the Meta theatre.
